My Workout Story
I love to eat anything edible but made up for it with exercise. Since childhood, my metabolism always felt it was through the roof. As much as I enjoyed the gym, it became inconvenient once I moved. I had to cancel my membership in advance and find another gym that I have yet to join. As much as I loved working out there, I hated using the equipment after someone else, no matter how much they wiped it down. I wiped down before and after use and look for a vacant machine that no one would beat me to, especially on a crowded gym day.
This leads to another “home-based” exercise — walking. You can walk around your neighborhood or throughout your home, not to mention walking while doing chores or simply searching for a misplaced item. It took me about 30 minutes to find an item after moving. In the amount of time it took to find anything, I could have finished walking at least 2 blocks by then. A good brisk walk does the heart good and increases your metabolism tremendously.
